Lease End Residual Value

286 Views 8 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Berko
I just checked out the details on the Tonale lease offer. If my calculation is correct, they have the residual value at 50% after 27 months. For comparison, I got a quote on Subaru a while back, they have residual at 75% after 24 month. Subaru and Toyota probably have the best residual value but still the gap is huge.

I guess this is the price to drive an Alfa 😦

50% at 27 months is low for the industry. My Giulia is 62% at 24 months. Most non-Tesla EVs are 52% at 36 months.
How did you calculate the 50%?

Yea, I am getting a higher residual. If I understand the details.

Hmm, I was using $49,195 as the sell price and then down payment

I took that price (includes down payment) to mean I had to inflate to get selling price.

That's how I interpret that wording too.

So the sales price is $54,190.

Yeah msrp and sale price is 54,190 would be my assumption.
It is really weird wording though. I guess it must be Canadian way. Never seen anything that states a price and mentions includes down-payment. We may be wrong too.
