How do you spec alcantara on the dash?

I've noticed when someone specs Alcantara seats, the center dash also has alcantara, but not always. In other words alcantara seats should come with black alcantara with red stitching accented on the dashboard too, but it's not a given this always happens, sometimes with the alcantara seats I see black vinyl on the dash with black stitching and I swear I also saw black vinyl with red stitching with alcantara seats. The big question is how do you get alcantara with red stitching on the dash? I don't see it anywhere on the options, is it just a limited run that have this, is it an option. I assume worse case scenario, you could order the alcantara dash as a part later on, but who the hell wants to rip their dash apart and possible create rattles afterwards.

By the way, I contacted the Alfa Romeo VP for North America (I live in the USA) specifically requesting an alcantara dash at least as an option of some sort for us American buyers. Haven't heard back yet, but curious if he responds positively.
No idea, but I noticed this:

  • The alcantara dash picture is a PHEV (No flag, eSaver button by shifter).
  • The leather dash picture is a FWD Hybrid (Italian flag by shifter)

So, perhaps the PHEV is how you get the alcantara dash with alcantara seats. So, US might get it, since we only have the PHEV.

Where do you see US options?
Thanks for the reply, thats a good observation that I've never noticed. More importantly it makes sense. Here is what I know, and perhaps some tidbits you haven't heard before.

Some dealers already placed their first batch of orders on Dec. 14th, so a month ago. This first batch of dealer orders are fully loaded cars. I asked my dealer if they could change one to my spec and I get in on the first run, that didn't seem to be doable. It appears Alfa NA wants the first batch to be loaded cars. The tentative delivery date of the first batch is sometime in May.

I was told you and I will not be able to do our own custom spec orders until Alfa's USA website allows Tonale E-Shop orders on the website. That seems to be the magic sign we need to look for. When that feature is turned on, we are good to go. When is that date, I have no clue.

I also heard this regarding options. The green is not Verde Montreal but rather Verde Fangio Tri Coat offered on the Tonale. Now I heard on a YouTube video that the new Zagato Alfa that was launched a few weeks back was not Verde Montreal green either but a derivative of it. It too was a very similar and a equally stunning green so I'm not too concerned. Could the Zagato be this new "Verde Fangio" color I don't know but it's a possibility. I guess Alfa could also just be renaming their colors too.

Color name change makes sense, since Giulia/Stelvio 2.0 can't get it. Odd to have a QV premium paint on the lesser model. Not sure if the paint is actually different, they both look great in person. Either way, a nice nod to Alfa driver, Juan Manuel Fangio.

Looking at the pricing sheets that were posted only the Veloce lists the alcantara dash, doors, and armrests.

  • Red Stitching on Instrument Panel, Seats, Door Armrest, and Center Armrest
Looks like web site got updated. It lists Alcantara wrapped dashboard for Veloce (y)
I think previously it only said red stitching.
