Electric Car Insurance More Costly Than For ICE Cars

We’ve all heard that EV And PHEV car insurance is higher than for ICE cars.
Sometimes as much as 100% more
expendive depending on the make
and the Insurance Co. Here is the ranking
of the least to most expensive car Insurance
companies for 6 car brands I found.

I have State Farm.

Old:
My 2018 Tesla Model 3 cost $400/year more than a 2015 Subaru Crosstrek.

Current:
My 2020 Tesla Model Y is $20/year LESS than my 2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia.

EVs are not expensive to insure.
