Would you be able to charge the Tonal Plug in with a standard household outlet overnight or will you need to install a Level 2 charger?

You can use a basic 110v outlet for a PHEV. For my Crosstrek (8.8 kWh) took 4.5 hours to charge. The Tonale is 15.5 kWh, so assume 8 hours.

If you want to use an L2 EVSE, hardwired, it will be a lot quicker. But that costs money. $750 install + $500 EVSE for my Tesla in 2019.

I would just use 110v since you can run on gas in an emergency.
